Writing I – Day 1 (Tuesday, Nov. 12 / Wednesday, Nov. 13)

Objectives: 

I can write a research-based paragraph using the recipe I learned in class: claim, transition, quote sandwich, conclusion.

I can correctly use singular/plural verbs with compound subjects.

Today’s Activites:

  • Bellwork – Choice book reading
  • “The Outsiders” paragraph peer review
  • Subject/Verb Agreement practice

Assessment:

  • Turn in paragraphs & peer review
  • Go over Subject/Verb Agreement practice as a class
