Writing I – Day 1 (Tuesday, Mar. 18 / Wednesday, Mar. 19)


I can correctly use subordinating conjunctions in my writing.

I can identify common grammatical errors while proofreading another student’s paper.

I can create an outline for a paper based on an interview I conducted.

Today’s Activities:

  • Bellwork: Choice books
  • Stations: 15 minutes each
    • Proofreading BINGO
    • Outline
    • Subordinating Conjunctions


  • Teacher checks in with students as they work
  • Proofreading BINGOs will be verified
  • Outlines will be turned in with migration paper
  • Subordinating Conjunctions sheets collected



  • Students may help each other at stations
  • Teacher will check in with students as they work
