Writing I – Day 2 (Wednesday, Feb. 12 / Thursday, Feb. 13)


I can recognize an author’s purpose.

I can consider how an author uses ethos, pathos, and logos to make an argument.

I can recognize redundancies in my own writing.

Today’s Activities:


  • Whole class discussion – article; ethos/pathos/logos
  • Redundancy Paragraph due next class



  • Read article as whole class.  Teacher will work with students to annotate difficult words/ideas.
